RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design and checking of building and infrastructure works including steel structures and RC structures.
- Design and checking of geotechnical works especially for temporary ERSS works.
- Prepare design calculations, coordinate with AC checker for any technical issues and comments prior to Authority submissions.
- Manage drafting staff and check drawings to ensure compliance with design concept and keep them updated of any revisions.
- Attend design coordination meeting and progress meeting during design and construction period.
- Liaise and coordinate with Clients, all other Consultants and contractors for design requirements, project details and technical issues.
- Conduct site inspection, identify and resolve potential design related issues during the construction period.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years of relevant design & coordination experience in design Consultants in charge of building and infrastructure works (permanent & temporary works).
- Good experience in geotechnical works design will be an advantage.
- Team player with good interpersonal and communication skills
- Candidates with strong relevant years of experience will be considered for senior roles.
- Experience in using of Staad Pro, Tekla and Plaxis software is required.
- Be good in structural sense with positive working attitude.
- Be familiar with Euro Code and Standards, local Standards and Authority requirements.
